Rajasthan’s Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) may declare the results of its Class 12 board examination around May 15, a senior official said.
“If everything goes as per the schedule, we are likely to come out with Class 12 result somewhere near the 15th of this month,” RBSE secretary Meghna Chaudhary said.
Chaudhary also said the board has decided to not to announce any merit list this year and that the students would get numbers as given in previous years.
A total of 8.69 lakh wrote the Class 12 exams at 5,398 centres across the state. The exams ended on March 25.
The board made elaborate arrangements to prevent paper leak and use of unfair means by students at the exam centres in 8 “sensitive” districts – Jodhpur, Barmer, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu Nagaur, Dausa, and Karuli.
Distribution of paper and sealing of the answer sheets were recorded on video and more than 4,500 police personnel were deployed to conduct the exam smoothly.
